It is with great pleasure to announce that Ambitiouz Entertainment’s headline act Emtee has been nominated at the 2015 BET Awards in the Best New International Act category.
Emtee has been nominated alongside MHD (France), Tkay Maidza (Australia), WSTRN (UK) Section Boyz (UK) and Falz (Nigeria). Voting for the Viewer’s Choice category is currently open, and will close on June 22, 2016.
After the success of releasing his debut album Avery, Emtee has won awards such as Song of the Year at the 2015 SA Hip Hop Awards, 4 MetroFM Awards including Best Hip Hop Album, Best Music Video to name a few. And most recently, Best Rap Album and Record of the Year for his debut single “Roll Up”.
The BET Awards will take place at the BET Experience in L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles from 23-26 June 2016. It will premiere on BET (DStv channel 129) on Tuesday June 28, 2016 June at 19:00 CAT.
