A Hip Hop Artist/Producer/Sound Engineer from Esikhawini (ESK),KZN in South Africa. The name Hobonoid came about when he lost his parents at a young age, which made him create an acronym which stands for: Human in Occurrence Being Observant Notifying Others of Inner Divinity.

With 2 mixtapes behind his belt, Supremacy (2011) and End of the Beginning (2015) Hobonoid gained popularity as a great Freestyler, Lyricist and Producer.
“I started taking my gift seriously when my mother bought me a microphone when I was 9 years old and I was inspired by my big brother to rap. Three years later my mother passed away and I chose hip-hop to give me therapy because growing up without a father and then losing my mother had a huge emotional impact on me as a teenager. Hip-hop became my outlet and I learned how to produce music until I studied Sound Engineering at Damelin College in Durban, where I completed my diploma in Sound Engineering”.
My artistic vision has inspired my clothing line DMT (Dreams Made True) and I am working on establishing my record label.
